PROPERTIES AND USES
Coconut oil is obtained by cold pressing the dried pulp of the coconut. At room temperature, coconut oil has a solid, butter-like consistency; at temperatures above 20°, it is an oily liquid. This is important for its conservation and use: in summer, it can be contained in a bottle and taken using a dropper; in winter, the container should be placed in a water bath or transferred to a larger, sterilized container with a lid and then scooped out with a spoon. In cosmetics, the skin becomes more beautiful, more supple and softer. Great as a facial makeup remover or post-shower moisturizer.
